Nominate a Kingston Teacher Who Deserves Recognition!

This spring, we’re celebrating the incredible educators in our community - and we want your help.

At The Rocking Horse, we believe teachers are everyday heroes who go above and beyond for the children and families they support. Whether it’s a kindergarten teacher who makes learning feel like play, a substitute who steps in with compassion and grace, or a high school teacher who never stops encouraging their students, we want to recognize their dedication and heart.

How It Works

We’re inviting members of our community to nominate a local teacher who has made a lasting impact.  Whether it’s their creativity, kindness, encouragement, or dedication, we want to hear the stories of teachers who inspire and uplift.

In early June, we’ll be surprising a few of these nominated teachers with curated gift bundles- filled with goodies from The Rocking Horse and our generous partners.

We’re also giving a special thank-you to the people who nominate these amazing educators. Every valid nomination is entered into a draw to win a special prize from The Rocking Horse.

Important Notes

  • Nominations are open until Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

  • Winners will be announced in early June.

  • All nominees will be reviewed internally and winners selected by our team.

  • Stories or photos may be shared on social media and in promotional materials. We will never post your full name or contact details.
