Part-Time Sales Associate

We’re looking for a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at The Rocking Horse this fall.

We’re a small, close-knit team and we’re hoping to find someone who will fit right in. If you love talking to people, enjoy being around kids and families, and like the idea of spending your day surrounded by toys, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing and dependable, and who genuinely enjoys helping people. Our store can get busy, especially during the holiday season, so being comfortable jumping in, helping wherever needed and working as part of a team is an important part of the job.

What We’re Looking For

Previous retail or customer service experience is required.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Enjoys talking with customers and helping people
• Is comfortable working around children and families
• Is friendly, enthusiastic and dependable
• Works well as part of a small team
• Is comfortable in a busy retail environment

Availability

This is a part-time position with regular shifts Thursday through Saturday.

Applicants must have full daytime availability during our store hours, approximately 10am to 5pm, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Availability throughout December and the holiday season is also required.
